Continuing with the Wolfman theme happens to be my favorite wolf-man to date. It's 2010's The Wolfman starring Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt. It's the same story as the others - upon his return to his ancestral homeland, an American man (Del Toro) is bitten and subsequently cursed by a werewolf.
The kit comes in 3 parts of nicely casted white resin. There was an ever so slight trace of a seam in the hairline, which cleaned up in about 20 minutes. An added bonus was I got a drawing and autograph of the sculptor Mark Van Tine.
I decided to leave the arm off for the time being, but epoxied the bust to the mausoleum base.
Base Coloring started - well maybe a few additional layers on the fur. The face was a little difficult to figure out. Some scenes have him fairly light around the facial features, while other scenes has the entire head dark. I started out leaving it dark, but it was too dark for a static model. At this point I epoxied the arm on too.
Visit again for the finale of the Wolfman. Thanks for looking.
